In Kano, two to four players compete to create their own Emakimono, traditional Japanese painted handscrolls, by arranging vibrant paint pots. Players collect the pigments they need from a shared central mat, and can swap neighbouring paint pots to set up the perfect move. A game of tactical resource management and careful spatial planning.
